Abbee is Interim CEO of the National Youth Agency (NYA) in England. She is a JNC-qualified youth and community worker with a postgraduate diploma in education and an MSc in Gender, Policy and Inequalities. She is an experienced leader who strives for quality and professionalism in youth work, applying this passion to her role at the NYA, nationally and the international consultancy she provides to the Commonwealth Secretariat. Abbee has supported and strengthened small charities in roles including board member, trustee and advisor. She also has experience in work relating to refugees, homelessness, and violence against women and girls. With experience in a range of settings and sectors, from alternative education to social care, Abbee is a passionate believer in the power of informal education to change lives and communities.
